What are the challenges of transportation and logistics?

Volumetric modules are large and heavy, which means they need to be transported to the construction site.   A logistics survey is done at the beginning of the design process to ensure this methodology is suitable. (Specialist vehicles and optimal routes are used). Transportation and any road restrictions being addressed early.   If Volumetric modular isn't feasible then a design utilising Panels and Pods will be suggested, which compliments traditional on site construction by speeding up the process with prefabricated building components.
